It was about time. Still alive. Busy with work. You've read all that so many times on so many Deviant's journals. Me too. It's the way of life I guess. We get into something, go all the rage with it, but then it calms down, maybe get's replaced by another rage of the year.
Thing is, I know that I do certain things in cyclic phases. I haven't really been doing photomanipulation in over a year, but I've also not been doing music for some time. Second Life(tm) took a lot of my interest recently, but that's kind of winding down - partly because I just have too mucgh work to do (as a senior PHP programmer)
Judging from the amount of DA stock I have been collecting recently, I guess the may be something DA related brewing. You never know.

The Other World
Oh yay! It has been - quiet - here. There'S several reasons for that.
a) I simply didn't have anything to show. There was a time when I didn't even start Photoshop for weeks.
b) I discovered Second Life. Yeah, I know. Timesink and addictive. Well at least it has me working PS magic again, even if it's stuff that's not likely to show up here.
So there. I am alive, and still checking in here. There *will* be new art from me here, don't fret ;)

Void Seeker
My recent pieve "Void Seeker" http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/44954653/ is an example of the things I did in private before coming to deviantART. I can't publish those pieces for the simple reason that I used non-stock art images to make them... So they are strictly limited to my personal use.
I am so glad I found deviantRT and it's vibrant culture of stock art contributors! I fav a lot of stock images exactly fot that reason: I want to support and make visible the astaunding quality to be found here.
Thanks!

The Oblique Angle
This is kind of a theme to my whole work and the way I approach things in live. I tend to seek the as-yet-unseen perspective. If there is a solution, I tend to search for an alternative. It seems to give my work an unique voice, so I am told :)

deviantDebut
Today marks my active entry into the deviantART world. With Shanala's Gate http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/43752234/ I submitted a piece that was made possible through the marvelous 'stock image' culture to be found here. Thanks folks, you rock!
